This year, the Christmas season was a little extra exciting for us because it was Callie's first Christmas. We had a lot of parties to go to as always and it seems like Santa pops up at all of them. Luckily, Cameron knows that the REAL Santa doesn't always have time to visit malls, parties, and Santa breakfasts, so he hires helpers that visit the kids for him and then report back. My Grandfather was one of the lucky ones chosen to help Santa this year! Cameron and his cousin thought that was pretty neat! Our scanner is an old one and doesn't work with the newer software, so the "official" Santa pictures aren't here, but here is a sampling of some of the fun we had this season!
Our first visit with Santa was at Breakfast with Santa at one of the local churches. It's a REALLY neat morning! You start with a pancake breakfast, visit with Santa, and then there is a story time (everyone gets a book at the end), craft and games area, and Santa's toy shop where everyone gets to take a toy. Plus you get a picture with Santa. Callie couldn't take her eyes off of Santa and I snapped a couple of my own pictures.
Later that night we went to a party with my family. This is where my Grandfather played Santa.

We also saw Santa at Sharon Woods where we always get our "official" Santa picture, but I'll have to upload that once I get a scanner that works :)
