Cam the Hockey Dude

Cameron has been playing hockey since he was 3 years old. He loves it and it has become a very big part of our lives. A new league formed in Cincinnati this year - the Queen City Hockey Association (QCHA) so we decided to give it a try. He played on the Queen City Railers as a "Mite" on the White team. It was a bit different than the league that we've played with since the beginning (Cincinnati Amateur Hockey Association) but as long as he is on the ice...he's a happy boy. This is one of the big things that he and his dad share because they both enjoy the sport so much. It's so fun to watch them talk about, play, and watch hockey together. Here are some pictures from his season. Also, some videos of one of the times he had a turn playing goalie. He made some great saves against a very tough team. They ended up placing 2nd in the league. The team that got 1st had never beat them during the regular season, but beat them in the playoffs to take 1st!

Here are a few of Cam's best saves...

Some action shots...Cameron is number 26 and has a yellow helmet, so he's easy to spot!

A very sweaty Cameron posing with the team's trophy in the locker room.

Brandon and I had concert tickets to see Casting Crowns on the same night as Cameron's hockey banquet. Nana and Pappy took him...here are a couple of pictures from that.
