First Birthday Princess Party

On the Saturday after Callie's birthday, we had her big birthday party at church with all of the extended family. The theme was "1st Birthday Princess" which was VERY fitting for our little girl. We had a few snacks and some cake and LOTS of presents. By then end of the party we had a worn out birthday girl.

COSI and Skyline

Thursday, Grandma and Grandpa flew in from Colorado to spend the weekend for Callie's birthday. We always go to Skyline while they are here. Callie got to have her first Skyline complete with a York Peppermint Patty.

We took the kids to COSI on Friday and let Cameron play hooky from school. It took some convincing from his teacher and myself because the kid LOVES school. He didn't want to miss it, but his teacher assured him that he would have more fun and learn more interesting things at COSI than he would at school that day! :)

Callie having her first Skyline...she did have a few bites of chili, but we didn't want to overdo it the first time :)

Grandpa giving Callie her first peppermint patty. You can see from the dimple that she has a huge smile on her face :)
She liked it!

Callie Grace's First Birthday!

Time has sure gotten away from me. I have been meaning to post something about Callie's first birthday for weeks. Then when I tried, I have been having issues with uploading the pictures and video. Now we're getting close to her 13 month birthday and I still haven't blogged about her 12 months :)

I was going to write about all of the birthday festivities, etc. in one big post, but it was pretty overwhelming, so I decided to break it up into several smaller posts.

I can't believe this first year went so quickly. I am lucky in a way that she's so tiny...it makes me feel like she's still a little baby and not growing up quite as quickly. Anyway, we made sure that the little princess had a memorable first birthday....for us anyway :) Her actual birthday was on a Wednesday, so we took her to Chuck E. Cheese. Nana, Pappy, Aunt Shelby, Uncle Shaun, Aunt Kira, Cody, Cory, Amy, Ayden, Brenden, and Kiah joined the four of us for a mini celebration. Callie had her first pizza and her first Giant Cupcake that night. She had a lot of fun riding the rides and looking at all of the fun things. She even got to meet Chuck E. himself :)

Here are a few pictures from Callie's birthday.
